Suspend protests?

November 17, 2016 by jve123

I wonder if we should consider suspending protests for the moment. Trump is incapable of functioning as President. His choices for advisors are pathetic and not popular with the public. Furthermore, having people like Banner in the limelight alerts the public – for the first time – to what that element is all about. This is far superior to his hiding under a rock, influencing his chosen few, and remaining invisible to the many.

Fully 3/4 of the voting public do not support Trump. When their frustration builds to alarm, we’ll be poised to give them opportunities to protest and resist. If we do that too soon, we may actually alienate them from us. Maybe we should wait until the “tipping point,” when we can give the whole thing a healthy shove into oblivion. Far from “giving Trump a chance,” this would be giving him enough rope to hang himself.
